Induction Ceremony For First BDS Students

The 17th Induction ceremony of KMCT Dental College was conducted on 21st December in the Auditorium, KMCT Dental College Campus from 10am-1pm. Function was presided by the chief guest- Principal Dr.Manoj Kumar KP, All Heads of the Departments, Faculty members, KMCT Medical College Faculty, Parents and new students of 2022 batch.

Program commenced with the Welcome address delivered by the 1st BDS Batch coordinator, Followed by Principal address and Felicitation by various department heads. The most highlighting event was the white coat ceremony, a ritual conducted to emphasise the importance of this profession. White coat being a symbol of authority, professionalism and compassion was conferred to each student by Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar KP and Senior Professor in Orthodontics Dr.Shobha Sundareswaran. Each student was allotted a Staff Mentor and a student Mentor, who greeted the student with a flower and a welcome card respectively. Members of the Student Support and Guidance cell of the College sensitised the parents regarding Student and Support Guidance Program functioning in the college.The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by the academic Coordinator.
